In 2019, Adventure Clean Up Challenge launched its first edition which saw teams of dedicated adventurers take to coastal areas in Hong Kong and tackle the growing volume of pollution. Coming off of their recently completed second annual Adventure Clean Up Challenge (October 24 – November 8th), we sat down with the challenge founders to understand the levels of coastal pollution that pose such a huge threat to Hong Kong and to also to hear how we can get involved.

The state of the world as of late has been anything but normal. Many of us have suffered major personal, professional, and financial losses over the last several months often on top of pre-existing feelings of sadness, loneliness, or disconnection. Learning to process and talk about our emotions without the fear of judgment is a huge help.

With that in mind, we spoke with fellow Retykler and sustainability advocate, Zoe Stevenson, who is a founding member of Banyan Workspace, a boutique office and events venue in Quarry Bay focused on sustainability. Zoe is currently the head of Marketing and Client Relations but also has a passion for environmental protection, conservation, and striving to live a zero-waste life.
